Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station Front. I entered right when it opened at 5 PM. I made a reservation this time since I couldn't get in last time. As expected, the tables were full with reservation signs. Niku Nari. The name somewhat reminds me of Osaka. It's a Korean-style grill where you cook at the table. Their signature dish is 'Fresh Tongue', made from fresh tongue that is not frozen and sliced by skilled chefs right before serving to meet the order. I ordered: - Premium Fresh Tongue Salt: JPY 1,639, tax included - Premium Shabu-Shabu Liver: JPY 1,089, tax included - Yakiniku Stew: JPY 649, tax included - Sliced Heart: JPY 649, tax included - Tongue Kalbi: JPY 759, tax included - Miso Horumon Mix: JPY 1,089, tax included - Nodokan Kotsu The Premium Fresh Tongue is thick and rich in flavor—absolutely delicious! The Premium Shabu-Shabu Liver is freshly prepared; you dip the liver in hot sesame oil to warm it. I haven't had beef liver in a while, and it’s sweet and really tasty. So nostalgic. The Nodokan Kotsu has a fresh color and a delightful crunch. The super cold beer served in frosty glasses also scored high! This is the best yakiniku restaurant—no doubt about it. I loved it! It was a great meal!
