Located on the 10th floor of a building at the intersection of Meiji Street and Nishi Ohashi, near Nakasu Kawabata Station. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with open windows that offer a panoramic view of Nishinakasu. Both the drinks and food menu are extensive, catering to a variety of tastes, which is quite satisfying. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Next to the Taiyo Movie Theater, this black building has its reception on the 10th floor. There seems to be a concierge present, adding to the chic ambiance that may not suit everyone. ( ̄ー ̄*) It feels a bit out of place for me. The windows offer a view with a couple of two-person tables in the open-roof section. You can see the river and Nishinakasu beautifully, making you feel a bit like a character from a movie. The beer selection includes Asahi SUPER DRY and several variations. The crispness of SUPER DRY seems to fit better on hot days. Here's a few dishes I ordered at random: - Bagna Cauda, JPY 1300 Skewered vegetables served with double sauce. It's mostly trendy vegetables, with a couple of skewers of bread. (* ̄ー ̄) Some of the names are unfamiliar to me. Due to the open seating by the river, the color of the dish was hard to distinguish. The sauce was plentiful in relation to the amount of vegetables, thick and rich, which I appreciated. - Xiao Long Bao, JPY 600 Considering the price points of the a la carte items, these dim sum dumplings are relatively affordable. When using the space like a beer garden, the selection tends to lean towards dim sum. The skin is thick and chewy, and the soup is at an ideal temperature to just pop one in your mouth. Not sure how well these pair with spirits, but they're quite tasty. Original cocktails are available as well. One called "Nakasu Bijin" features acai and soy milk as the main ingredients. (* ̄ー ̄) It's sweet! Rich and sweet, it’s layered but mixing it well initially is a challenge. There wasn’t much explanation provided, so I ended up drinking it as is. - Lava Grilled Beef Steak with Hennessy Flavor, JPY 2800 The steak is flambéed with Hennessy at the table, transforming the blue flames to red. A beautifully presented piece of beef sits atop slices of onion on the hot lava stone. While the interior showcases vibrant redness, it is cooked thoroughly in general. This is the highest-priced a la carte item, and it stands out, but it might be mid-range for Nakasu. (* ̄ー ̄) Tastes great though!♪ The service is polite, though it may come off as cold if you aren’t accustomed to this atmosphere. Perhaps the establishment prefers less interference with guests. I believe it’s suited for a hidden getaway. It might be nice for a slightly upscale meeting, though I probably wouldn’t use it for that. ( ̄ー ̄*)
