Let's enjoy some morning coffee in Matsuyama. Since I'm close to JR Matsuyama Station, I decided to look for a shop inside the station. JR Matsuyama Station is brand new, with the previous station building on the streetcar side and a beautiful new one on the west side. Both the station and the west side seem to be under construction. Inside the station, there’s a place called Dandan Street, which is home to several shops. It looks like there's THREE FISH COFFEE here. When I got there, I spotted the Mont Blanc Mocha Soft Serve, so I ordered that along with a Strong Blend coffee. I opted for the Mont Blanc Mocha Soft Serve in a cone. The coffee is brewed by hand drip. It was ready quite quickly, but there wasn’t any seating inside the shop, so I took a seat on a nearby chair. The Mont Blanc Mocha Soft Serve features mocha soft serve topped with chestnut cream and glazed chestnuts. It’s visually appealing. Using chestnuts from Ehime Prefecture, it delivers a delicious flavor of chestnuts. The taste of the chestnuts is quite pronounced, which is great. The mocha soft serve blends nicely with the coffee flavor and the chestnut topping. The Strong Blend coffee has a rich bitterness without any acidity, which makes it my preferred choice. I’m looking forward to the beautiful new JR Matsuyama Station. The station’s signage says, "Rather than looking down, peel a mandarin." I see. So, the phrase "I’ll come and go" is a dialect, right? Dialects exist everywhere, and locals may not even realize they are using them. Eating soft serve in the morning might be a bit challenging later on, but it was so delicious that I’m satisfied. It was a great meal!
