Is it just me, or do you think not many people go for the Nakanaka MAX? It seems like this Golden Week has relatively nice weather for a change. The first half of the holiday is a four-day weekend until today, right? I imagine there are a lot of people around Dogo and the city station where the Hokkaido exhibition is taking place, so after my usual business on the east side, I decided to stop by here. I was the first customer! ٩(๑>ᴗ<๑)۶ I found out this place is part of the Skylark group. Well, sometimes you have to try chain restaurants too. Today, I ordered fried chicken thighs for JPY 132, shrimp tempura for JPY 110, and a pork loin cutlet set meal (竹, 120g) with miso soup for a total of JPY 1,122 using the tablet. After about five minutes, my order arrived. They offer three types of condiments: tonkatsu sauce, pink rock salt, and low-sodium soy sauce. The signature batter is indeed crispy! The fried chicken has a slight over-fried taste but is still delicious. The shrimp tempura has just the right amount of bounce. With katsu don for JPY 500, giant chicken cutlets, mixed fried dishes, soba, and curry on the menu, I think this place is great for daily use!
