After finishing golf, I took a slight detour to visit this place. You can easily walk from Kazusa Ichinomiya Station! Aka Shichiya is a popular restaurant located along the approach to Tamamae Shrine, especially noted for its fruit-based shaved ice. The restaurant has a relatively small number of seats, and it tends to be bustling with customers, particularly on weekends, which may lead to some wait times. The interior is a registered tangible cultural property, housed in a building constructed in the mid-Meiji period. Indeed, while there are limited seats, they also offer takeout options for sweet potatoes and drinks. The owner is warm and welcoming, making it a wonderful place to visit. I hear the shaved ice is highly recommended, so I’d love to try it next time. However, as a man alone, I felt a bit hesitant. Thank you for the delicious oden!
