February 11... I happened to pass by after work and decided to step in casually (#^.^#). With a capacity of just 17, the shop features 5 counter seats and a small tatami area (4 people at 3 tables). ( ´∀｀)bｸﾞｯ! I entered before 7 PM, and since it's quietly located in a corner of a hotel, you might miss it easily. When I arrived, there weren't any other customers, so I settled into a corner seat at the counter. v(´∀｀*v)ﾋﾟｰｽ It appears to be run by three men. (#^.^#) I ordered a draft beer, an assorted sashimi platter, and a buri kama (yellowtail collar)... The sashimi platter featured three slices of hamachi (yellowtail?), one shrimp, and four pieces of octopus on a long dish. I thought it was a bit small for the price (JPY 980), but the freshness was impressive, and the octopus was crunchy and delicious! (＾ω＾) If you're looking for a stylish yet homey izakaya experience, this place certainly fits the bill. (＾ω＾) Next up was the buri kama, which was quite large!＼(◎o◎)／! It was served with grated daikon and ponzu sauce, and it was very satisfying. v(´∀｀*v)ﾋﾟｰｽ After ordering a second beer, I also tried the fried octopus... This was made from the same octopus as the sashimi, and it had a wonderful resilience. ( ´∀｀)bｸﾞｯ! There seemed to be various items on the menu, but since it was my first visit, I refrained from taking pictures... The counter is great for solo visits or dates, while the tatami area could accommodate a group of friends. (*≧ｍ≦*)ププッ This place seems perfect for girls looking for a relaxed and enjoyable izakaya experience...
