I visited this place with my wife when we went to Nishikasai. It’s located just a 2-3 minute walk from Nishikasai Station, on the 1st floor of a building filled with izakayas. This is a Kyoto-style Teppan-yaki restaurant (^-^). Despite it being a Sunday, the restaurant was almost full, showing its popularity! We decided to order mainly from the recommended menu (*゚▽゚*). 1. Kin'ya Issen-yaki : It is filled with a generous amount of Kujo green onions! There’s also plenty of well-cooked beef sinew, making it quite delicious (´∀`). 2. Tonpei-yaki : This was my first time trying this dish. The homemade sauce was rich and tasty (*´ω`*). 3. Ebi Gyu : A popular item featuring shrimp paste stuffed in lotus root and grilled (*゚▽゚*). It pairs well with beer! 4. Shogoin Daikon : As a high-quality side dish from a teppan-yaki restaurant, it was quite impressive and appealing (^O^). Not only was the quality of the teppan-yaki menu great, but the variety of Kyoto-style a la carte dishes and the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant left a very positive impression on me! This place is definitely rising in popularity in the Nishikasai area. I’ll be keeping an eye on its progress (๑≧౪≦). It was a great meal m(_ _)m.
