The visual of the menchi (breaded pork cutlet) took me by surprise. I thought it was just a place to fill my stomach, but it was actually delicious (´⊙ω⊙`)!! Check out the second photo—do you see the glistening juices? (゚д゚) Yummy!!!!!! Freshly fried and piping hot ♡ I think it's even tastier than grabbing a menchi katsu from the local butcher! Personally, I felt that there could have been a little less demi-glace sauce. Also, I have to mention a common trend I notice at family-run restaurants run by older folks… They tend to go heavy on the dressing for salads, haha. Is anyone else having the same experience? I unexpectedly stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant and even discovered a few other interesting spots nearby, making for a wonderful lunch!
