From the "ETC only" entrance at the "Nasu Kogen Service Area", you can reach "Nasu Animal Kingdom" in about 15 minutes by car. The gate is also open 24 hours a day.

30 minutes from Nasu IC
Turn left at the Nasu Interchange exit traffic light onto Prefectural Route 17. After about 2km, turn left onto the side road and turn left onto Prefectural Route 303 towards Shirakawa. After about 1km, turn left at the Yumiochi intersection and continue straight on National Route 4 for about 8km. Turn left at the Toyohara Hei Second Pedestrian Bridge (the entrance to Asahi Elementary School). Continue on Prefectural Route 305 for about 7km and turn right at the end of the road. Then turn left immediately after that and continue straight for 5km.

15 minutes from Shirakawa IC
From Shirakawa Interchange, take National Route 4 towards Tokyo, turn right at the Hiegaeshi intersection, then turn right at the Otani intersection on Prefectural Route 68.
