Take Away Bento Around noon, I passed by the shop and saw they were selling three types of bento! With bento available everywhere now, I wondered if there might be any nearby as I rode my bike, and I quickly found this store. I had been curious about it for a while but hadn't had a chance to stop by, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity and bought the fried chicken bento for JPY 600. They also offered grilled chicken and oyakodon bento. The food was still warm and delicious.

On a holiday around 19:30 during the Obon vacation, I was lucky to find a spot to eat after a concert, as a table had just opened up in a previously full restaurant. The entry had a large sign stating smoking is allowed, which made me hesitant, but I was too tired to search further, so I decided to go in. It seems to be a restaurant famous for Nagoya Cochin chicken. I recommend the draft beer and the deep-fried Cochin chicken wings (3 pieces). I opted for the seemingly lower-calorie options: Grilled Cochin chicken with sansho (Japanese pepper) Assorted skewers of 5 types of Cochin chicken I placed additional orders for quicker dishes as the grilled items take longer: Deep-fried minced fish with burdock Corn tempura. I sat at the counter by the entrance. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, and the staff were friendly. Thanks to acrylic panels and good ventilation, I hardly noticed any smell of smoke, which was a relief. The dishes were delicious, and the service was perfectly timed. It was a great meal!
