Checked into Fujikyu Hotel in Fujinomiya to prepare for remote work. In "My History," here are my orders and records: On February 17, 2022, I had 2 draft beers, gyoza, and miso butter ramen. The miso was of the white variety, and the vegetables were definitely plentiful. The take-away fried chicken was also excellent. On March 13, 2022, I had a draft beer and 3 pieces of fried chicken, along with a half-half set. Half the ramen and half the fried rice. The half fried rice was just the right size. However, the presentation of the half fried rice resembled a generous serving. The rice was well-separated and just right. I usually go in early when they open, but more and more customers keep coming in! As a local, this makes me really happy.

Since I was working remotely from the hotel, I returned around 17:00. This time, I ordered 6 pieces of gyoza, tanmen, and a draft beer. The gyoza was as delightful as ever, and I finished them in no time. (The homemade quality really shows, and the slightly uneven sizes are reassuring.) The tanmen was full of the restaurant's unique broth flavor. (It’s not your typical canned 'soup base', I suppose?) The amount of vegetables was just right for someone in their late 50s. (It’s not piled high like at a specialty tanmen shop.) Since it was a weekday at 17:00, there were few customers inside, but it seems the place is loved by the community for take-out and deliveries. I’ve definitely decided to return again!

I've known about this place for a long time. I used to visit the instrument shop next door often. As a local, I found myself at the hotel in front of Fujinomiya Station for remote work. I entered around 5:30 PM on a Sunday. The restaurant was fully packed, including my table. I had 3 gyoza, chashu ramen, and 2 beers. The gyoza were packed with crunchy vegetables, and the flavors were gentle and comforting. The chashu was the size of a hanafuda card, about 3mm thick, and it was tender and juicy. The noodles were slightly yellow, thin, and wavy, served in a gentle soy sauce broth. In the kitchen, a tall chef was skillfully tossing the pots, while experienced staff attended to the customers with agility. It has a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend this local spot to others. I'll definitely be returning myself.
