I had the seasonal winter set meal for lunch. It included eggplant, lotus root, sesame rice cake, two shrimp, crab sticks, nodoguro (black throat perch), and probably hobou (greenling), along with rice and miso soup. It's a casual place to enjoy tempura. I entered at 11:30 on Saturday, and by the time I finished eating, the restaurant was full, with people waiting for seats inside. It's a popular spot. The taste is pretty average—not exceptionally crispy or delicious—but it’s certainly not a disappointment. The more affordable Yama Set Meal or Vegetable Set Meal might actually be a better choice.
