This hidden gem is located on the second floor of a very conspicuous yakiniku restaurant. I've been here about 4 to 5 times with friends or alone, and I am always satisfied with the food and prices. Initially, I was attracted to this place because of the 200 JPY beer (laughs). Plus, since I don't eat Vietnamese food very often, I was excited to find out what it was like. We started with some skewers, spring rolls, and diced steak, but what I highly recommend is the spice mix presented in a little container on each table! It costs 300 JPY at the entrance and is called 'Sate'... It’s spicy but delicious, I must say! We love dipping it in meat, vegetables, and just about everything else. It really elevates the flavor of the dishes. Of course, I wouldn't recommend it for those who can't handle spicy food, but you should definitely give it a try. My friends and I seem to go there just for this (laughs). However, I don't think the portion sizes for each dish are suitable for one person. It’s probably just right for around 2 to 4 people. In my case, when I go alone, I usually order the a la carte 'Diced Beef Steak' and have 3 to 4 beers before heading home (laughs). That amount is just about perfect for me. (The attached photo is from my recent visit with four people, and the fried spring rolls were the most popular!) So if you can enjoy these dishes at this price... I feel like the staff really puts in an effort, which is very commendable. One thing to keep in mind is that payments are mainly cash, and communication in Japanese can often be quite challenging, but overall, I really like this place. ( *´艸`) Below are the images: 1: Fresh Spring Rolls 2: Fried Spring Rolls (I highly recommend these) 3: Diced Beef Steak 4: Okonomiyaki? 5: Skewers 6: Seafood Yakisoba 7: Beef Noodles (seems different from pho).
