Course JPY 6,980 Additions x2 Lemon Sour x1 Highball x3 Total JPY 11,300 ● Iwa Mozuku (Ishikawa) Great crunch and exceptional texture. ● Returning Bonito Served with a paste of Shishito and green chili peppers, plus an egg yolk. The richness of the fat pairs perfectly with the unique flavor of the sauce. ● Spanish Mackerel (Kumamoto) With Mitsuba and myoga as condiments, squeezed with Shikuwasa. Start of the nigiri ◯ Swordtip Squid Finely cut squid with a sweet, intense flavor—delicious! ◯ Barracuda ◯ Spanish Mackerel ◯ Yellowtail ◯ Sardine Well-marbled and smooth in texture. ◯ Sweet Shrimp x2 Very sweet and melt-in-your-mouth. I ordered another piece since it was so good! ◯ Red Fish ◯ O-toro A piece that emphasizes the sweetness of the fat. ◯ Eel Roll Freshly grilled eel wrapped in seaweed. The dripping fat is irresistible. ◯ Ikura Rice Bowl My favorite, Ikura! ◯ Uni Mini Bowl ◯ Shrimp Mayo Shrimp and kaiware (daikon sprouts) with tartar sauce, wrapped in seaweed. The shrimp was perfectly bouncy, and the tartar didn't overpower the rice in just the right amount. This was my first time having Shrimp Mayo at a sushi restaurant, and it was amazing. Everyone asked for seconds! ● Miso Soup ◯ Toro-Taku Generous amount of toro with finely chopped takuan. Rich and delicious, more than you'd expect from a JPY 6,980 course. ◯ Tamago Not sweet, more like a savory rolled omelet. For this variety and quality, paying JPY 6,980 is beyond a great deal! I wasn’t expecting much at this price, but the ingredients were great and delicious. The chef, Gyutaro, is entertaining and responds well to customer requests. It was a great meal!
