Service"Ka-you Flower Farm: Homegrown Cultivation"
In the nature-rich city of Moriyama, Shiga Prefecture, overlooking Lake Biwa and the Hira Mountain Range, is the self-cultivated farm of Hanayou ka-you. We use our own blended environmentally friendly recycled organic compost. This includes over 100 varieties of Omi vegetables, Omi rice, soybeans, and wheat, as well as Omi vegetables certified by the Organic JAS and EM bio-cultivation, along with agricultural products that meet Shiga Prefecture's environmental standards.
ServiceSame-Day Delivery of Private Trucks
We travel around over 300 farms in Shiga Prefecture, including fields, greenhouses, fishing ports, ranches, poultry farms, and production sites, using our own trucks and five light vans. We deliver thoroughly sourced Shiga Prefecture ingredients such as Omi vegetables, rice, soybeans, wheat, Omi beef, pork, chicken, Lake Biwa fish, local specialties, seasonings, and local sake. The delivery route takes about two hours one way, passing through the Kosei Road, Hiei Mountain, Kyoto, and the Meishin and Hanshin Expressways, ensuring same-day direct delivery.
Food Over 100 Types of Omi Vegetables
Shiga Prefecture is home to many certified local traditional vegetables. It is also famous as one of the leading production areas for turnips, and the brand vegetables originating from Shiga are well-regarded locally. Representative winter vegetables from Omi include Hino vegetables, Kitano-sho vegetables, Manki turnips, Akamaru turnips, Ibuki daikon, Yamada nezumi daikon, Hata-so yam, Shimoda eggplant, Sugiya eggplant, and Mizuguchi kanpyō.

In Shiga Prefecture, the only auction for Omi beef is held at the Shiga Meat Market in Omihachiman City. Hanayou obtained the "buying rights" to participate in the auction for whole Omi beef carcasses as a participant in the Shiga Meat Center wholesale market in January 2015. Furthermore, in February, we obtained a business license for meat sales and opened a wholesale store for Omi beef.
