Mildred Burke is one of the most important women in the history of professional wrestling, and she’s gotten her due — bringing a lot of her contemporaries along for the ride — in the 2009 book, The Queen of the Ring, by Jeff Leen, and then, in March 2025, with the release of Queen of the Ring, a movie starring Emily Bett Rickards as Mildred Burke.
