Welcome to my personal page
I am an Economist with a specialization in climate change, environmental policy, biodiversity management, and sustainable agrifood systems. My expertise lies in research, policy analysis, and project management, with a focus on climate adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and fostering economic resilience. Currently, I am contributing to these and related areas through my role at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
Previously, I served as a Researcher at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), where I led projects in energy and environmental economics. My work included analyzing carbon tax policies, optimizing biodiversity restoration strategies, productivity analysis in agriculture and evaluating related projects. I employ advanced econometric modeling and spatial analysis techniques to assess climate risks, evaluate biodiversity restoration outcomes, and study the social network dynamics influencing green energy adoption.
I hold a Ph.D. and an MSc in Economics from SLU and was a visiting scholar at the University of Western Australia (UWA). My research has been published in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, Energy Economics, Energy Policy, and Agricultural Economics. My interdisciplinary approach bridges agricultural, environmental, and economic perspectives to drive sustainable development and policy innovation.
