Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen

Nekketsu builds upon the character dynamics established in its precursor, revealing the more intimate sentiments of the cast through social understanding. The dialogue and mannerisms evolve to contain more nuance, embracing the series’ characteristic sexual humor and applying it in ways that enhance the character depth. Creatively, it continues to mature, utilizing a wide array of color palettes and excellent lighting in its nighttime setting, consisting of fluidly animated fight sequences with the occasional jazz vibe. There is a noticeable push toward the theme of humanity, contrasting the ideologies of the three antagonists based on differences in their blood while simultaneously pairing Araragi and Hanekawa ... to indicate the significant role of choice or lack thereof in ascertaining human essence. It’s clever writing that manages to extend conversations without them turning stale by virtue of impeccable comedic timing, gradually arriving at the desired conclusion that sets up the subsequent scene. Nekketsu sets a solid thematic foundation for the trilogy, continuing to appeal to the senses through its audio-visual flair.

This anime's character expressions, drawing structure and animation style are quality, unique and quite interesting. It has a nice story design in itself, but some parts of the story do not provide enough depth and some moments are really absurd.
~ But of course, what does it matter, isn't this a fiction? Does it have to be logical and consistent?

Also, as a philosophy student, when I watch meaningful scenes in the anime, I say "Ah! Yes, this scene can be examined and commented on beautifully." and then suddenly a woman's underwear image is included in the scene. Then I find myself saying "Yaw?!~ What's the connection? ... What do you have to do with it right now?!" (Stun and nervous breakdown)

Apart from that, the anime's commentary on the human-monster (non-human) connection are both nice... But inadequate.

As I said about the first movie, this anime is a little strange and a little interesting.

story was not just predictable , it was garbage. just a rehash of tropes that felt like an insult to the series.

Art and Direction: I won’t waste words on the art style and direction; it’s the usual Monogatari fare. But even the familiar visuals couldn’t save this

Audience Reception: I’m baffled by the high ratings. Did we even watch the same film? How can anyone rate this mess so highly? It’s mind-boggling.
