Edward F. Skoda is a judge for the Fulton County Family Court in New York. He was appointed to this position in 2009 and was elected to a full term later that year. His term ends in 2019.[1][2]
Education
Edward received his B.A. degree from Siena College in 1970 and his J.D. degree from the Albany Law School in 1973.[1]
Career
Edward began his career in 1976 as general counsel for GTE of New York. He then joined the law firm of Caputo Aulisi and Skoda in 1978. He practiced in that capacity until 1998 and then served under the re-formed firm Aulisi & Skoda until 2000. He also served as an Assistant Attorney for the Fulton County Department of Social Services from 1985 to 2009. From 2000 to 2009, he practiced law under the title: the Law Offices of Edward F. Skoda. He was then appointed to the Family Court and began his judicial career.[1]
