What is Anomalous Detectors Mod?

Simple. It's a mod that restores the three anomaly detectors. Its purpose is to give the player a small change to the gameplay of the Vanilla game.

You can use all three anomaly detectors. Each one has its own characteristics.

Simple Detector: It is the most basic model, with limitations in its detection range, and also in its list of detectable anomalies.

Advanced Detector: It's a slightly more up-to-date version of the simple detector, with a better range and more anomalies in its detection system.

Detector Elite: It's the best detector you can get in the vanilla version of the game. Its range is greater, it recognizes all anomalies and is able to show their location on the mini-map.


Anomaly detectors are a content present in the game Shadow of Chernobyl, but cut into several parts.

They already existed, that is, I didn't create the detectors. But I did include them in the game with a few changes. This doesn't take away from the vanilla experience and brings a different aspect to the game without cutting out the vanilla game style.

Downside to having detectors come back as items is practical reduction of artifact space by one slot. Figures the detector slot should be separate, unless this is that trick or treat thing?

Yes, the inventory should have a slot for the detector. The truth is that the old SoC releases had the idea of ​​separating the detectors and each having its own advantage. Inventory had slot space for detectors.

This was removed from the final release... Maybe later I will work on an addon for this, as there are already other addons for changing the inventory. CoP Inventory Hud addon is an example.

You could allow the detector to be alternatively carried in a pistol slot for now, next to the artifact slot availability. Not that is fixes it, just temp.
