Classic and simple love story full of necessary clichés in one of the most beautiful setting I have ever seen. Visually really beautiful. The story doesn't always come out well, but the wonderful decors make it very easy to digest. Had the characters and story been a little more deepened, this might have received the full blow. But the feeling I got with this film was so good that I just can't give less than 4.5*.

Crackling the crackling busy busy busy ... come on boys and girls of the CGI effects: you don't have to putty everything completely shut!!! Perhaps it is possible to agree on some sort of Hergé clear line so that we can watch a bit of a nice film instead of going completely crazy.
Also a kind of Sci-Fi version of 50 First Dates .... indeed you should just feel like it. Fortunately, I personally always get happy when Timothy Spall is in a movie.

Anyone who, like me, is guided by a large number of positive messages here, may well be disappointed. Upside down puts a childish story in a kitschy form.

Love conquers the world, rich and poor have to work together, world peace and all that, but in the meantime Solanas forgets to make clear what exactly is so nice about Eden, for example. We really don't get to know anything about her, not a single character trait or what she loves or dreams of (yes, from Adam of course). Dunst can therefore make nothing of this role. The ramshackle storytelling also fits the lesser children's book for the age of 8-10 years: for example, it is first made clear to the viewer that Eden has amnesia and therefore cannot recognize Adam, and when they meet, another person explains character also uttered it to Adam. The denouement beats everything. First we have to believe in a dramatic ending where Eden has to let go of Adam for a free fall of hundreds of meters, and then our hero comes to in the branches of a tree as if he had just taken an afternoon nap. ridiculous.

So much for the content, but the form is not much better. I think it looks very ugly and unreal, with those strong filters on. The use of music is also blood irritating. Solanas repeatedly invites the viewer to experience a moment full of emotion when he once again starts a music number and makes the protagonists swoon for minutes. The fact that Sigor Ros is being abused for this makes it even worse.

Can't find much positive in this, except for the concept of the two opposing worlds with the accompanying images that you don't often see.
