Une Vie Meilleure plot
Cook Yann and waitress Nadia, mother of a nine-year-old, decide to take a big risk with the purchase of a restaurant. They have enough talent, enthusiasm and love to make it all work, only financially they need outside help. The loan offer overwhelms them to the point of dizzying their eyes. Nadia eventually takes a job in Canada that gives them some financial security. Yann stays behind to make the restaurant a success. Together with the child, Yann sees an endless line of creditors passing by. Added to this is a system that does not care about their problems and the daily grind that cannot be avoided.
