Jane Grant is an attractive, promotion-seeking editor and a nice friend. She is assigned to assist a 'famous' actress, Natasha Nutley, with her biography. She takes this assignment with both hands to force promotion. Only one thing is missing: a nice friend. She tells everyone that she has a doctor as a friend. The problems pile up when it turns out that Natasha is not helped and everyone wants to see her imaginary friend.
