One day in July 1982, André Bamberski learns that his daughter has died. She was 14 years old and on holiday in Germany with her mother and stepfather, Dr. Krombach. It soon becomes apparent that there are suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. Convinced that Krombach is involved in his daughter's death, Bamberski embarks on a 27-year search.
