All of Us Are Dead - when will we get season two?

Netflix has confirmed that production on the second series of All of Us Are Dead has commenced.

The South Korean Young Adult horror series first premiered on the platform in 2022 and became one of Netflix's most successful non-English language shows, amassing over 560 million hours viewed within 28 days, while it also hit Netflix's Top 10 Shows in 90 countries worldwide.

The show concerns a group of high school students in the fictional city of Hyosan who must fight for their lives after a zombie infection outbreak on their campus.

It is based on the webtoon of the same name by Joo Dong-geun. The show starred Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Jeon Bae-soo. 

Survivors Park, Yoon, Cho and Lomon all return for series two and they will be joined by new cast members Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won, and Yoon Ga-i.

The plot of the second series concerns another outbreak, this time in Seoul, while Nam-On-jo (Park) is at college, attempting to move on from the trauma of her high school outbreak.

An official announcement from Netflix on 23rd July confirmed that production is under way with a view to airing the series in at some point in 2026.
