Mal-adjusted teens Kelly, Nathan, Curtis, Alisha and Simon aren't friends, but they have one thing in common: they all have something up their sleeve and have been sentenced to community service. During the execution they are attacked by a kind of magnetic storm. Afterwards, it turns out that the five have somehow become superheroes. They have each been given a special power that suits them exactly. But they're not the only ones...
