Miss Pui Ting Wong (Pearl) is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and PhD Candidate researching the impact of culinary education on adolescents' psychosocial wellbeing. She is passionate about empowering people to lead happy and healthy lives through nutrition education. Her international research portfolio spans nutrition education, mental health, and migrant health. She has collaborated with organisations including American Diabetes Association, Dietitians Australia, Hong Kong Community Dietitian Association, Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST), Queensland Curriculum & Assessment Authority (QCAA), and Bayer Pharmaceuticals.
As an emerging educator, Pearl has delivered nutrition education across Australia and internationally to a diverse range of audiences including First Nations communities, students, teachers, people with neurodiversity and special education needs, families, allied health professionals, and athletes. Her experience spans clinical, community, academic, and corporate settings. She is also committed to fostering high quality student training through active teaching, supervision and mentorship across universities and schools.
Beyond academia, Pearl is the Student Coordinator at Dietitians Australia Queensland Branch. She also partners with institutions and organisations to design and implement evidence-based nutrition education programs.
