It has been a while.

It has already been four years since Rowan passed away on March 11, 2011.

We applied for the open proposal for Matsushima Town's project, "Selection of an operator for the food and beverage space at the Matsushima Town Reconstruction Urban Development Support Facility (Matsushima Panorama House)," and have been notified that we have been selected as the operator of the food and beverage space.


Thank you so much to everyone who supported and cheered for me. I can finally stand on that stage again.

The building that existed before the earthquake will be replaced with a new one, and because it is a "urban development support facility," it will not only serve as a cafe space as before, but will also be reborn as a place with evacuation shelter and community functions.

The building is still under construction and we will be working out the details, but rather than returning to the way it was before the disaster, we want to create an evolved space based on Cafe Loin in cooperation with Matsushima Town. We are a little worried, but we want to do everything we can to beautifully demonstrate a new form of public space.

May smiles return to that place overlooking Matsushima Bay.
