I asked someone from Gifu where to have lunch, and they recommended this cafe with a stunning view where you can enjoy nature. It seems that their morning menu is quite famous, but since I could only go during lunch, I opted for a lunch set. I considered sitting on the terrace, but it was fully booked and there was an additional charge, so I stayed inside (which still offered a lovely view!). For lunch, I chose a main dish (either shrimp and vegetable green curry, handmade hamburg steak with yuzu ponzu, or gapao rice) along with a deli salad plate (with different dressings depending on the main dish), soup, and dessert (homemade Earl Grey jelly with mango passion sauce). I could also switch to bread or a bagel for an extra JPY 100. There were plenty of breads available for takeout, so I decided to have the hamburg steak with a bagel. The price was a bit on the higher side, but the view was beautiful and it was a relaxing experience, so it was worth it. Water was self-service, and they even provided insect repellent for those outside. After finishing my meal, I was allowed to take some photos outside! I really wanted to try the pancake set, but due to time constraints, I couldn’t. Next time, I definitely want to try their morning menu. It was delicious. It was a great meal!
