Located just a two-minute walk from Meguro Station, this cozy restaurant is set back a little from the main road, making it quite peaceful. With only 16 seats, the atmosphere is very quiet, making it ideal for intimate gatherings or dates. Overall, the food is carefully prepared and delicious, with excellent cost performance, making it a bit of a hidden gem (in a good way). The thoughtfully selected vegetable appetizers are rich in flavor, and while the dishes are not flashy, they’re light on the stomach and won’t leave you feeling heavy the next day—this is a style of Japanese French cuisine that I personally love, especially as I’ve been finding myself unable to finish meals lately given the abundance of meat and fish. Additionally, I appreciate that you can generally order a la carte, adding to the convenience. Interestingly, the standout dish for me was the homemade bread, which can be ordered individually for JPY 150—definitely something you should try. I will most likely return for another visit.
