Located in Kagurazaka, this is a hamburger specialty restaurant that only serves lunch. Their highlight is the 100% Akage (red-haired) Kampo Wagyu hamburgers, which are not made from black-haired cattle. They offer seven types of hamburgers, including rice bowls and weekly specials. I decided to try the Mozzarella Cheese Hamburger (JPY 1400). You can choose the amount of rice, and I opted for the regular size. For the sauce, I considered the pairing with cheese and chose the demi-glace from the options of demi-glace, shariapin, and mentaiko cream. Although the counter was the only available seating, the service was quick. The soup, salad, hamburger, and rice were served in that order. The demi-glace sauce came in a sauce pot. I was advised, "Please dip it instead of pouring it over the hamburger." The coarsely ground hamburger, coated with cheese, was incredibly delicious. When paired with the demi-glace sauce that had hints of red wine, it became even more delightful! While I couldn't discern the difference between black-haired and red-haired cattle or whether it was Kampo, one thing is for sure: it was a delicious hamburger. In recent times, even gourmet burgers often exceed JPY 2000. To enjoy this hamburger at a family restaurant price in Kagurazaka is a great value. Next time, I might try it with a fried egg and shariapin, and I'm also curious about the hamburger rice bowl.
