A Yakiniku Spot with a Showa Era Vibe in Shinshu
If you're craving a taste of nostalgia, this is the place! We serve up Yakiniku with a twist, featuring tender beef intestines marinated in our special "Yannin Miso" sauce, packed with garlic and chil |
In preparation for the MB competition, we approached via the Jizō Ridge. Perhaps due to the few hikers, the trail exuded a calm and serene atmosphere with stunning natural scenery. The ascent took about 4 hours, while the descent took 2 hours and 30 minutes—what a great mountain hunt with perfect weather! That evening, we indulged in game cuisine. Although I was most looking forward to bear, it wasn’t available, so we started with Omasum sashimi and venison tataki. The portions were quite generous right from the beginning. We continued with roast and kalbi, wrapping the Yakiniku dishes in Korean perilla leaves. Next was the specialty "Zero Magnetic Field Horumon," named after the nearby renowned zero magnetic field spot, Pankui Pass. I paired it with a bowl of plain rice, creating a delicious dunk and rice bowl. To finish, we enjoyed another specialty, "Fire-extinguishing Ramen." The combination of spiciness and the rich savory nature (was it game?) of the broth was delightful. By the way, if you register as a friend on LINE, you can get a complimentary drink and enjoy a toast with the owner!
