Reading this manga felt like a complete waste of time. Words can hardly express how frustrated I was by the end. The male lead is utterly spineless—more of a bottom-feeder than a protagonist—and there’s absolutely no character development to speak of. Meanwhile, the female lead starts off quirky, but quickly crosses into unsettling territory with her behavior.
There’s a total absence of emotional growth, and the plot feels like a series of disconnected events forced onto the characters rather than something naturally unfolding. I only continued reading because I’m a sucker for romance. But honestly, I wouldn’t even categorize this as romance—there’s no meaningful connection, no emotional depth, and certainly no payoff. The relationship feels forced and aimless, and despite holding out a sliver of hope that things will improve by the end, nothing ever does.
If you’re considering reading this, I strongly urge you to spend your time elsewhere. Even a random doujinshi would offer a more satisfying experience. While some readers might enjoy the superficial “cutesy” moments, there are far better series out there that deliver charm and substance.
