Two schools that are close but completely distant and hate each other, a tall, blond boy named Tsumugi Rintarou, who always ends up scaring people with his delinquent appearance even though he is kind on the inside, then meets a girl, Waguri Kaoruoko, a cute, short, and gluttonous person, they meet at Rintarou and his family's cake shop, and she is the first person not to feel scared around Tsumugi and understands his kindness and care for others, Rintarou realizing this feels accepted and happy to have been recognized by someone, so a girl and a boy from schools that hate each other try to ... overcome the barriers in front of them and get to know each other better and get closer and closer.

Honestly, this is just a very ligh-hearted romance/slice of life manga and whether you'll like this or not, depends on your personal taste.
For me, it has been a good experience so far. There's no unnecessary drama and misunderstandings like the majority of romance manga and they get together fairly early in the story. However, the manga focus is not only the romance between the main characters, but how their relationship positivelly influence their lives and their friends. It focus a lot on the friend group and their personal "problems" going through life as high school students.
I have to agree with some commenters ... in some points that can be viewd as negative:
- Everyone is the story so far seem like their straight from a fairytale, not real people. They apologize a lot about things that can't even be considerate mistakes or something bad. Their always so supportive and always so kind. Basically, it's like they have no flaws.
- The "drama" of the story is some pretty basic stuff. Things like choosing what you want to do after high school becomes a huge deal. Although i undestand this isn't this big of a deal in real life (in the sense of the drama), i can see how it can be an important and interesting theme for someone who is going through the same dilemma in their life, and the manga can be just a tool to show you different ways to deal with it.
Lastly, i view this manga like a fairytail manga because, honestly, the friendship and innocence present in the story is just something that i don't see and don't think is a thing irl. They romance is very innocent and their relationship as friends too. For people that like stories that are more realistic in a sense of relationships, this one is not a good one.
If you simple like cute, light, romance/slice of life that just bring a sense of confort, this manga is lovely in that sense.

This manga has to be the most boring read. Absolutely nothing about this manga is special or interesting whatsoever. I can't even begin to fathom how anyone could think this is good when there are not only better romances in general, but romances exactly like this that hold cultural value except not a snooze fest. Anyone who likes this needs to be put on to actual peak so that they can see what real peak is.

The only redeeming quality of this is the art. This mangaka is talented at drawing, but dookie booty at writing. Especially the characters. Not one character is interesting at ... all. The character writing is one of the worst out there.

The plot to this abomination is generic and repetitive. This pile of garbage is going in circles, following these steps:
- Something bad happens
- The love interest/friend comes in and reassures them
- They cry
- Yap session about friendship and love
- Everything is fine again
- Repeat
Anybody who says this plot is deep/interesting has zero reading comprehension. I mean ZERO reading comprehension. This is the most flat, boring, sleep inducing manga ever. It only gets a 2/10 because of the art, and if I need to fall asleep I can just read the newest chapter.
