Wandance is a non-degenerate, non-harem that combines romance with dancing (sports/music). It is gorgously drawn and understands how to frame both the male and female dancers to reflect what their sexappeal is. The series is as of now unfinished, but I can with confidence say that the romance aspect is only around 20% of the story's focus. So this is a slow-burner on the romance.
On the other hand, the sports aspect of the dancing is the series biggest "thing." It is 80% of the mangas content and extremely well integrated. This is a straight up battle manga at its core, with dancing replacing the martial ... arts. I know nothing about dancing, but the manga takes time to hold your hand and introduce all the aspects in a satisfying way.

CONS
- Gief romance! Gief degeneracy!
- The pacing can be a little off at times. Rarely happens though.
- While the characters and motivations are welportrayed, I do feel like the characters at times feel a little shallow. Not all of them, but some of them.
- The "power scaling" in this manga is subjective to the judges, so it can be hard as a reader to follow a battle and understand if the characters choices of styles and moves were the right ones.

I wholeheartedly recommend this series to anyone with even a hint of interest in dance or those simply seeking an engaging way to pass the time. Despite being a manga, it breathes freshness into the genre with its unique portrayal of dance. The artist's meticulous attention to detail is evident in every line, effectively capturing the essence and emotion of dance movements. 10/10 in terms of how this conveys the emotions and cool factor of dancing. Other reviewers have talked about this a lot already, and this effect is even greater if you can relate to the main character.
I came back to dancing after a year long hiatus from injury just because this series reminds me of the body control and techniques I always aimed to achieve in such an in-your-face, dynamic style it's hard not to get moved. Whether you have danced or not I believe the composition that Coffee chose for this series is just unique and outstanding - very easy to visualize the ... characters' moves. The popping, waacking, floorwork, power moves and much more are exceptionally animated, give it a try!
