Kitsune This unnamed little fox is most commonly referred to as "Kitsune" by fans of the series. He falls in love with Shinobu early in the series and wants desperately to be acknowledged by her, but his cute demeanor and childish naivety make her oblivious to his romantic feelings.

He has the power to transform and disguise himself as others when it is convenient for him... however, since he cannot change his height, face, or voice, he never succeeds in fooling anybody, despite all his efforts. He is capable of human speech, but has a habit of making the noise, "kon", whenever he gets exicted or frustrated - the noise that foxes supposedly make in Japanese.
