Mikuni Takano (高野ミクニ)A trainee in the Three Chambers Platoon of the Imperial Guard. His father is also in the Imperial Guard. While visiting Earth for training, he accidentally saves Kaguya. However, he does not realize that she is an Imperial Princess, and knows nothing about the coup that took place on the moon. When he sees Kaguya fighting against the Umenouchi family, he decides to defend her. He travels with Kaguya. He is a joker and is basically bossed around by Kaguya, but as he travels with Kaguya, he begins to become aware of his role as an Imperial Guardsman, and at the same time, he begins to think of her as a woman.
