The selection process changed over the generations as Diluculum strove to produce better generals than the last. By the group's final generation, most of its members—Manas, Corpus, L'Oreille, and Nares—were sent into the world as infants to fend for themselves; because only the Magus knew which infants were Advanced Replicants, many candidates died without ever being considered for the position. Upon being recognized for their potential, they received basic Farmagia training from Dentro before being brought in for higher-level education from the Magus and veteran Oración generals. Once the process reached Ten's generation, Dentro persuaded Diluculum to have the candidates placed under his care at his orphanage from an early age, arguing that this would produce better results.
