really meant something
Anime
anime which really meant something, with deep, important, and impactful themes. obviously everything here is based on my own opinion, but for the most part, i would call these shows life-changing, thought-provoking, inspiring, beautiful, etc.
in other words, they really meant something to me. v(=∩_∩=)フ

a lot about the cycle of love and hate, how injustice leads to hatred, and acting upon hatred leads to more injustice, and more hatred. #chooselove
also about family, whether it be blood, or found family. helped me come to terms with suppressed emotions relating to it

a super silly and fun shonen anime, while also being about government corruption, inequality, oppression, imperialism, capitalism, conflicting ideas of justice, rebellion, revolution, the meaning of freedom, and more. the main takeaway i've gotten from it is that no matter who you are, or what anyone says, it is never wrong just to be alive, and to be yourself.

science fiction but lowkey also about the dangers of AI, becoming more reality than fiction each day (Brau-1589 scared me so bad)

themes of war, genocide, prejudice, propaganda, sacrifice, etc. idk if we'll ever see another like Isayama... genuinely genius story-telling. although the ending is sad, in my opinion, it's perfect.

read the manga!!! s1 was great, don't get me wrong, but it barely scratched the surface of the true story/meanings, which are accepting change, personal growth, and learning to move on and go your own way, even if it means you may have to leave people or things you love behind.
