These are both continuations / sequel manga to beloved shonen series Dragon Ball & Naruto. They both feature new artists with a lot less involvement from the series' original mangaka's. They both have recent anime adaptations and deal with harsh criticism from a sector of fans, they however both have their appeal and have sufficient reader base who praise the work.

Both are sequels to iconic shounen manga series, handled by a new author instead of the original one, and whose anime adaptations tend to deviate a bit from the manga to have a slower and more naunced pacing.
