Tokyo Movie Shinsha produced shows based on novels about twins, both aired in 1991 one after the other.
The art direction is more or less similar to each other and they both have rather captivating stories that are heartwarming, dramatic, and leave you wanting more.
Their stories do differ where one is about the twins' experience in boarding school based in the UK whereas the other about two girls based in Germany who are fated to meet at a summer excursion retreat and discover they are each other's twin, finding a way to get their parents back together so become a whole family again.
