Simple and refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised with this anime. It doesn't pander any message to anyone just presents its story confidently. And the story has a unique premise but it's quite universal the way it is told.
The direction is really good.
Our main characters are constantly put in different situations and their emotional growth is fun to watch.
Their reactions are quite realistic and relatable.
It's a complete story with a satisfying ending.
The animation is decent and the VAs did a really good job.
There are atleast three different arcs each dealing with a different side of the protagonist and the side characters.

Appetizer before the second season
Its a quick binge and only contains 3 eps of 20 mins. The story is quite basic but it's got the same relaxing vibes and subtle humour of the main show. Most of the show is set in the countryside and the animation is beautiful transporting you into the world. You get more context about the world in which our main characters inhabit. I would recommend it as it's only an hour long and if like me you want to refresh your memory as it's been a while since the first season. But it's not a must watch.

This season takes a different route from the first season.It doesn't focus on the main story much but instead is a collection of short stories playing in 2 or 3 episodes each.
That said your enjoyment of the series will depend on how much you like the main character Iwanaga coz this is her ride all through. While the first season introduced us to this world the second season shows us the nature of the characters that inhabit it. I loved this season mainly 'cause I liked Iwanaga's character and how they show different aspects of her. There's mystery here some stories are better than others the ...

A solid time travel mystery anime, summertime rendering doesnt do anything new or out of the box. It is a combination of a lot of ideas and most of the time they click. It is a good self contained story well worth your time.
There are plot armors for the main characters but they dont detract from the experience. The story gets a bit convoluted especially during the last few episodes but I enjoyed the wholesome conclusion. The quality of animation is top notch the fight scenes are well animated. An emotional rollercoaster ride. Watched it recently on Netflix and I was blown away by it. Shoujo ai at its peak. The story is straightforward with mature themes and the emotional weight of it grabs you and doesn't let you go. This anime was quite a surprise for me. I didn't expect to like it so much. Honestly I only watched it cause the second season is confirmed and I am glad I did.
There are hardly any battle sequences and they are pretty average. What this anime does well is its characters. Most of the main cast especially, Will ,has great character development.
