Sometime I just want to get up, stretch my leg and get some fresh air. It can feel so draining after a while. Even I don't want to be stuck in a car for long, but at least with a car you can open the window or stop and get out. But if you are on a plane you are stuck up there.

Sorry somehow when I read your message I missed the last part with the French
Inspector Gadget theme YT video. The song was okay. I'm very nostalgic when it comes
to Inspector Gadget since I've been a fan for 40 years. It was probably one of the first shows
I liked that wasn't on PBS like Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.

To me it's hard to accept another version of the song since it's so iconic to me and since
there aren't many new things I like that aren't YT videos, I'm even more nostalgic for childhood
shows than most people. The French version isn't bad though. Just different from what I'm used to.

Anyway I just watched Peebs video on Minecraft Movie McDonald's Meals & Toys.
The 80's kid in me is very happy that the McDonaldLand characters are back.
Also his rant at the end is epic.

Ima just say that the 2 main characters fighting eachother is kinda like a battle between Lelouch vs L.

There is also a special OVA, Gaiden from 1998 which is a bit of a prequel and extends the watch by 24 (+) episodes.
Also there is Gaiden 2 from 2000 with 28 episodes.
But for that I would look up a watch order guide. Or you watch Gaiden later now?? Not sure.
It's for sure a great watch when you have time :)
Also on this re-watch I noticed that there is a lot of gore in the show which I completely forgot about.

The 2018 remake apparently has some different takes, but it's mostly the same story, but all the characters are pretty. (Or so I have read)

I am re-watching Gintama bit by bit again, but taking it super slow.

I wish the 90's Tiger Inspector Gadget toys were around in the 80's.
The 80's ones looked okay but the Tiger brand 90's ones look so much

I didn't start watching IG until 85 and I watched a lot of the reruns
but I didn't find out until I was an adult that he had a mustache
in the early episodes. I did watch the animated movie when it was new
when I was a kid. Loved it and I still do.

Have you seen any of the Asterix movies from the 1980's?
I'd have to double check but I think YT has one from 1985 and one
from 1986.

Just watched another Dana Carvey interview from when he was on Conan.
This one is from 2012. Also just so you know from when I talked about cheese
in one of my past messages, I was only comparing Wisconsin cheese to cheese
in other states. I wasn't trying to compare it to other countries cheeses.
