Thank You! And sure: It's a consistently strong show/manga that keeps it fresh with each new arc. The characters are well-rounded with believable lives. The anime's current adaptation is highly produced and has been gelling the dark and fun elements together. The story weakens near the end but I think the direction and decisions it made mostly made sense - and it's a lot cleaner than Kaguya's (Aka Akasaka's other big hit) ending. Ultimately, it's a story that feels catered for me: great cast, mature social themes, commentary and portrayal of art, revenge, light/dark moments, etc.
Thank you for the birthday wishes! And don't worry — in German, you can say either. 😉
I'm also really happy you like my Violet Evergarden banner. It's one of my favorite anime!
Hi!
Yeah... I used the mal site, plus some YouTube videos on how to edit it. I also used a site to create the poster of my favourite Anime and content creators!
Thanks for adding me. I wish you the best on your journey learning Japanese!
I really like your favorites too, every row that contains Toradora is instantly based af
Whatever cons or festivals or anything of note happens in summer here in Greece the last 5-7 years has been brutal, because of the heat. Especially when it's paired with humidity it becomes hell. Near my area last year we had what i call "black snow", which was ash from the fires raining down from the sky and we also breathed that thing in.
Atleast it's better to have a sunny day than a gloomy day when going to such events.
The Apothecary Diaries hasn't had a single bad episode, and this has been even more apparent in Season 2, which I'm thoroughly enjoying. Though I'm not particularly interested in the field, I'm not only impressed with the botanical and pharmaceutical knowledge on display in the show, but also how creatively it is applied.
I'm glad you're enjoying Hyouka as well! Do you watch anime for the messages they convey?
I've had the idea of committing to watching an anime film every month, since I always tend to put them off. My last pick, Whisper of the Heart, is now my favourite Ghibli film! There are so many films I haven't seen that suit the summer vibe: Suzume, Children of the Sea, Bubble, The Tunnel to Summer, Ride Your Wave ...
Apart from that, I'm not sure what my plans are. For a long time, actually, I've been preoccupied for seasonals, and the non-recent shows I watched over the last few years are few and far between. It's a bit odd, considering that when I started watching anime, recent shows actually didn't interest me so much. Considering I'm cutting down on the seasonals anyway, I might just lean back a bit and enjoy some older shows this summer.
You're naming a lot of sequels, another thing I've fallen behind on. To be honest, there are some series I haven't checked out the sequels to because I'm just not that interested anymore, like Re:Zero, Spy Family or To Your Eternity. Sometimes longer series are a very big commitment.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was the very first anime I started, and it's among the shows that have stuck with me most across ten years now (gosh, that's a bit incredible!). Get ready for an epic story rich with lovable characters, smart twists and compelling ideas!
No worries, always take your time! We're all busy people with busy lives.
Vielen Dank, mir geht es bestens!
Well, if you're inviting me to, I will gladly correct your German. "Für" takes the accusative, not the dative, so it's "für Sie". But as an online friend, you don't need to use formal pronouns with me - "für dich" is fine :)
Where did you learn German? Is English your first language? And I hope you're doing well too!
Ty for your friend request, it's nice to meet you~ ☆
Rin-chan really is the best, isn't she? ♡ I've loved her for a very long time!!
You have really great favorites as well~ I've been meaning to watch Sakura-sou no Pet na Kanojo for a while now :3

Yesterday was a good birthday.
