I'm a simple, open-minded guy when it comes to Anime. I just love animation in general and i'll watch almost any genre from any time period, no discrimination (well, except maybe for sports and yaoi, they're just not my thing); from old, obscure 80's OVAs to Seinen to Shounen to Horror to Ecchi and Hentai to Comedy and even the occasional ongoing seasonal anime, i tend to give a fair shot to almost anything that catches my eye.
After all, variety is the spice of life :P
About my anime beginnings
Basically, my introduction to anime as a whole was indirectly kick-started by a high school friend lending me a PS Magazine PS2 Demo CD way back in the day.
It featured demos for various games and i was randomly trying them out, when a particular title caught my attention; it was a demo for Fullmetal Alchemist: Curse of the Crimson Elixir. I didn't watch anime at the time, and i didn't even know the game was based on an anime; i thought that was just its style/aesthetic.
The gameplay was very simplistic, but i was drawn in by the high-quality voice-acting and the interesting characters and premise. I played through the demo several times but, as much as i wanted to know the whole story, i never got to buy the full game for some reason.
Flash-forward to early 2012 (about 5-6 years later). I'm browsing through Netflix and i happen to catch the thumbnail for the FMA (2003) anime series. I'm like "Whoa, this is that game demo i used to like so much!" I watch the first couple episodes out of curiosity, "Oh, it has the same storyline from the game!" I got hooked immediately, decided to watch the whole thing and, well, here i am now...needless to say, i owe that old friend a lot :)
About my watching habits
I prefer to watch completed series/seasons, so i generally avoid currently airing seasonal series until they're finished 'cause i'm too impatient to wait one week between each episode. I do make exceptions sometimes, though, if the show really, really interests me.
I don't really binge-watch stuff, either. Due to college, social life, short attention span, alternate hobbies and other responsibilities, i tend to watch series at a fairly slow pace (about 1-3 episodes per day).
About my rating system★★★
It's very inconsistent, lol.
Sometimes i rate based on enjoyment, sometimes i rate based on overall quality, sometimes it's a mix of both and sometimes i don't even bother rating at all 'cause i just can't settle on an appropriate score... or 'cause it's a hentai and i refuse to rate something i watched only for fapping purposes.
So, yeah, my ratings are meant purely for myself, and should not be taken seriously by others.
About my Dropped list
I very rarely drop anime, 'cause i'm a bit of a completionist and i usually watch shorter series anyway. I mostly just leave stuff "on hold" for a while if i'm not that into it.
So for the most part, i just use my "Dropped" section to list entries of specials and extras related to my watch list that are considered "lost" and/or nearly impossible to find on the Internet.
That said, if any of you who check out my drop list happen to know where i might find any of the entries listed there, i'd really appreciate it if you could share a link or something.

This is a list of most of my tags. It's meant for my own convenience and ease of list-browsing, but i guess anyone else is free to take a look around if they wish.
*Note that the tags will not work on the mobile version of the site/anime list (because it sucks and the admins should give it a major overhaul).
This example is like a Japanese person saying the word "love", You heard them say the word mostly in music. It's still a western created word and it's origin is western. In order to even spell Loli the Japanese need to use "katakana" which is use to spell foreign words and which can not be represented with traditional characters in the 1st place. Regardless of what one might be able to dig up on the internet the term lolicon was actually coined 1st by western otakus. Which is why you won't find many people in Japan even use the term loli unless it's a reference to 'Gothic lolita" fashion.
