Kon'nichiwa, hajimemashite!

My name is Arun! :)

I started watching anime during COVID back in 2020 and I haven't looked back since. I think the appeal of anime to me was the aesthetic, style and the amazing writing and storytelling potential that can be made. From this I then moved to manga in 2021 and found it to be just as enjoyable as anime so now I stick with both mediums as much as I can.

My first anime was Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and my first manga was Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run.

My favourite anime is Attack on Titan and my favourite manga is Chainsaw Man.

My favourite character is Josuke Higashikata, but I'm slowly moving towards others like Aki Hayakawa, Reiner Braun and Yasutora Sado.

I hope to learn more about this amazing world since I am still relatively new and I also hope to find others who share similar interests like mine.

Hiroyuki Sawano - THE Composer in all of Anime

It was after the episode “Warriors” in Attack on Titan Season 2 that I started to pay more attention to the music that was featured in the show… needless to say I fell in love.
Every track in that OST is filled with so much emotion, depth and story that really makes you connect with the show more so than ever.

When the anime adaptation for Solo Levelling got announced, I got so hyped because I saw Sawano-san’s name for the soundtrack, because I knew he was going to do an even amazing job here like he did before.

To this day I still listen to his songs and I even find time to break down why the lyrics mean in and out of the contexts of their respective shows; his style is something I very much relate too and appreciate.
There are other great composers out there like Shiro Sagisu and Yugo Kano, but Sawano’s music just elevates my soul to another level; I cannot wait to discover even more of his amazing pieces
