'Kanpekisugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru' Unveils Supporting Cast, Staff, First Promo

The Kanpekisugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru (The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom) stage at the DMM booth at AnimeJapan 2025 unveiled supporting cast and the first promotional video on Sunday.

The television anime adapting Kouki Fuyutsuki's fantasy romance light novel will air on April 10 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by Aichi TV, BS Asahi, and AT-X. Abema, U-NEXT, and Anime Houdai will begin streaming the anime on April 3, a week ahead of the television broadcast.

Shuu Watanabe (Shinobi no Ittoki) is directing the anime at TROYCA. Keiichirou Oochi is handling the script and series composition. Shuuhei Yamamoto (Kakushigoto) is serving as both the character designer and chief animation director. Takaaki Nakahashi (Peach Boy Riverside) is composing the music.

Fuyutsuki penned the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from July 2020 to January 2022. Overlap began printing the series under its Overlap Novels f imprint with illustrations by Masami in April 2021. The seventh volume went on sale last December, with the eighth volume set for a March 25 release.

Overlap's Comic Gardo platform began serializing a manga adaptation by Mago Ayakita in November 2021. The fifth volume shipped in June last year, with the sixth volume going on sale on March 25.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation in English in September 2024. The first light novel and manga volume went on sale on February 4 and February 11, respectively.
