Additional Cast for 'Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de' Announced

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tokuya Higashikawa's Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de (The Dinner Table Detective) novel revealed four additional cast on Monday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 4 at 11:30 p.m. on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block, followed by AT-X.

Kuninyan: Yui Horie (Bakemonogatari)
Yaho Ranger Red: Satoshi Nakao (Yuri!!! on Ice)
Yaho Ranger Blue: Taichi Takeda (Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season)
Yaho Ranger Yellow: Kousuke Echigoya (Tengoku Daimakyou)

Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Diamond no Ace) is helming the anime at Madhouse. Mariko Kunizawa (Honzuki no Gekokujou) is handling the series composition and Izumi Kawada (Ore Monogatari!! design assistance) is designing the characters. Takeshi Hama (Maoyuu Maou Yuusha) is composing the music

Higashikawa penned the three-volume mystery novel under Shogakukan between September 2010 and December 2012, with illustrations by Yusuke Nakamura (Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei). A sequel novel, titled Shin Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de, began in March 2021. Shogakukan published the second volume on September 18.

A manga adaptation by Aya Kawase ran in Flowers Comics α magazine from April to November 2011. Shogakukan released the second and final volume in August 2012.

It's a collaboration with Kunitachi City, the city where this story is set. Those rangers and Kuninyan are the real characters/mascot of this city. I don't think all of them will involve anything in the main plot apart from being collabo comic relief background characters.

Why does this detective show have sentai rangers..?

I was initially interested, but not really sure about this one now...
