'The Electric State'
Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt team up in Netflix’s new feature The Electric State, which takes place after a war between humans and robots resulted in the robots being banished to a remote wasteland. Brown stars as Michelle, who sets out to search for her brother with the help of a smuggler named Keats and her robot companion. Together on their cross-country road trip through what is left of America, the pair discover the retro world of the robots while unraveling a shocking conspiracy about the robots.

'The Twister: Caught In The Storm'
Netflix’s new documentary The Twister: Caught in the Storm gets to the center of the horrific tornado that ripped through Joplin, Missouri, in May 2011. Over a thousand people were injured by the mile-wide tornado and 158 were killed, making it one of the state’s deadliest recorded storms. Recounted through actual footage and first-hand accounts from Missouri residents and storm watchers, this Netflix doc from director Alexandra Lacey unpacks the devastation left behind by the twister.

'The Secret Life of Pets'
Max, a spoiled terrier whose charmed life in New York City gets interrupted by the unruly Duke, finds himself mixed up with the wrong crowd when they come across a white rabbit named Snowball. Now on the run from a gang of abandoned animals that call themselves the Flushed Pets, Max and Duke’s only hope is Gidget, the neurotic Pomeranian who notices her unrequited crush is missing. The Secret Life of Pets is a fun and eclectic family comedy starring Louis C.K., Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, Dana Carvey, and more.
'Kraven the Hunter'
Kraven the Hunter bombed in the box office, but now anyone interested in the panned action film will get to stream it from the peace of your home. Aaron Taylor Johnson stars as an animalistic vigilante who hunts down criminals after having been given a mysterious serum granting him animal-like abilities when he was a young boy. Kraven reconnects with his brother in London, where he finds himself pulled into an elaborate kidnapping scheme that connects back to his ruthless, crime lord father.

'Con Mum'
In this unbelievably true documentary, Chef Graham Hornigold’s life gets turned upside down when a woman enters his life, claiming to be his long-lost mother. What ensues is a long con in which the woman scammed him out of hundreds of thousands of dollars as he helped pay her bills and fund her lifestyle, ultimately leading to the dissolution of his marriage. But you would never believe how this documentary ends.

'Talk To Me'
A24’s memorable 2023 horror Talk To Me is streaming now on Netflix. Breakout actress Sophie Wilde delivers a can’t-miss performance as a sensitive teenager suffering from the loss of her mother. But when her friends begin playing with an embalmed hand that allows you to commune with the dead, she can’t resist the chance of finally being able to speak to her mother again – or so she thinks. Talk To Me features some seriously brutal scenes, even for a horror film, but its most memorable parts are when the teens pass the hand around like party drugs and become possessed.

'Den of Thieves 2: Pantera'
Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. reunite in Den of Thieves 2: Pantera. In this action-packed sequel, Detective Nick O’Brien hunts down criminal mastermind Donnie Wilson, who is attempting a massive jewel heist with the Panther mafia in Europe. But the down-on-his-luck detective finds himself switching sides and joining the bad guys once and for all after getting a taste of life on the run.

'Despicable Me 4'
After welcoming a new addition to the family, Gru Jr., Gru is forced to face one of his biggest foes after he manages to escape from prison: Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell). Gru, Lucy, Agnes, Miranda, and Edith must band together to stop Maxime from hurting Gru Jr. and return to prison once and for all.

'One Of Them Days'
Keke Palmer and SZA star as best friends and roommates in the brand new buddy comedy One Of Them Days, which is streaming now on Netfli just weeks after it premiered in theaters. Lucky for us! After Alyssa’s (SZA) boyfriend steals her rent money, she and her best friend Dreux have to do whatever it takes to earn the money back and avoid eviction. But will their friendship survive the crazy lengths they will have to go? The comedy was a critical hit, with Decider’s John Serba praising how it “neatly balances the character stuff of hangout movies with a propulsive plot-driven narrative and genuinely funny bits, which is something many comedies struggle to achieve.”

'The Life List'
In The Life List, Alex (Sofia Carson) is sent on the journey of a lifetime after her late mother (Connie Britton) leaves behind a teenage bucket list for her to complete to shake up her otherwise comfortable, if boring, life. Alex is challenged to face every goal her mother set for herself when she was 13 years old – get a tattoo, perform stand-up, reconnect with family, – but she learns a lot more about herself along the way – and finds love, too. The new romcom is directed by Definitely, Maybe director Adam Brooks and adapted from Lori Nelson Spielman’s book.
