Mike Phillips
Mike Phillips (Democratic Party) was a member of the Montana State Senate, representing District 31. He assumed office on January 7, 2013. He left office on January 4, 2021.
Phillips (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Montana State Senate to represent District 31. He won in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Phillips served in the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 66 from 2007 to 2013, during which time he served as Majority Caucus Leader.
Biography
Phillips earned his B.S. in Ecology and Evolution from the University of Illinois in 1980, and his M.S. in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. His professional experience includes working as a biologist and administrator.

Phillips won election in the 2012 election for Montana State Senate, District 33. Phillips ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and defeated Tom Tuck (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[5][6]

2010
On November 2, 2010, Phillips won election to the Montana House of Representatives. He did not have any opposition in the June 8 primary. Jedediah Hinkle ran for the seat on the Republican ticket. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.[7][8]
